GOLDEN CRICKET

We told a founder story of an entrepreneur who makes protein bars out of bugs.

The Challenge

Create a compelling narrative for Golden Cricket, a protein bar containing real crickets. It was essential for us to convey that the product was not just another protein bar, but something with a deeper purpose. Along with conveying the message, it was important that the video was short enough to live on social media.

To achieve this, our crew studied the film Warrior starring Tom Hardy, which inspired them to use handheld cameras and telephoto lenses to capture the essence of the story. They also noted how the film utilized obstructive objects in front of the camera, creating a cluttered and disordered effect.

Our team used these observations to craft an emotive story for Golden Cricket, highlighting its unique qualities and the passion of its founder. This approach allowed us to showcase the product's true significance beyond its surface-level function as a protein bar.
